1960s vintage embellished silk chiffon cocktail gown / 70s / Diana Ross / Supremes

Gorgeous tangerine embellished late 60s cocktail gown by Marie Hewitt.

The dress features and foldover V-neckline at the front with a heavily embellished high waistband underneath. The embellishment includes amber glass beads set in gold wired mesh and gold tone baubles. The work on that is very intricate and feels weighty which is a sign of a well made garment.

The dress flares out in an A-line shape all the way to the ankles. Very flattering when walking...the colour is a deep tangerine, perfect to be accessorised with more gold tone pieces like charm bracelet or bangles...

Zipper and back and fully lined.

Material: Silk chiffon / acetate lined / glass beads / gold metal mesh

Condition: Very good vintage condition. All embellishment is perfect and there is nothing missing from it. The gown has been very well kept. There is some slight damage to the very bottom of the hem. This would be from either having been stored to close to the floor or someone shorter wearing it. It is not at all visible when worn. Price reflects.
