BURBERRY Vintage 1960s plaid wool ruffle blouse / 70s tartan / RARE Sample

1960s original Burberry check / plaid cloth wool blouse by The Scotch House.

Some great features on this piece like high stand up collar that has a full front Scottish ruffle with pin tucked shoulders that are wide cut and fall into massive balloon sleeves, gathered richly at the cuff.

There are two buttons the neck, 4 button up front and angle button cuffs...more space for the full sleeve...

The cloth itself is fantastic...a deep oxblood red with yellow, mustard and blue thin stripes creating the plaid pattern. Just magnificent.

I believe this one of a very small amount of sample blouses made using Burberry fabric and retailed at The Scotch House.
