Hardy Amies 1960s vintage psychedelic maxi dress / gown / Posh / luxe hippie / 70s
Stunning late 60s floral cocktail gown by Hardy Amies sold at Cresta!
The dress has fab features such as; intricate gold metal mesh and beads work all around the cowl style neck with matching gold metal mesh around the cuffs. The sleeves flare gently.
The fabric is an explosion of bold, almost Hawaiian influenced, flowers with colours including tangerine, tomato red, raspberry pink, hot pink as well as bubblegum pink, white and purple!
The shoulders / sleeves are cut in a raglan style which is very flattering and the dress has a slightly flared out effect all the way down.
Team this with some heavy duty gold tone dangle earrings a la Vogue '67 and a cocktail of your choice!
Zipper and hook & eye at back. Fully lined.

Fabric: synthetic fibre mix / smooth to the touch
Condition: Good vintage condition. Colours are vibrant and the fabric has no holes or tears or other damage.
All the beadwork is intact as well as the gold metal mesh braiding around f the cuffs. The only flaw to note would be that the neck area (on the inside) is marked quite a bit.
This could be from make up as well as general wear. Photos available upon request.
A cold rinse (baby shampoo) would be recommend however dry cleaning would not be because of the beadwork. Price reflects.
