LIBERTY 1970s vintage multi print cotton dress / Broderie Anglaise / Pockets
A fantastic piece of vintage LIBERTY fashion history!
As much as we have tried, we cannot seem to find any information at all on what or who this logo print shirt dress was tailored for.
We have a Peter Pan collar edged in broderie anglaise with a 5 button up front and short sleeves also adorned with broderie anglaise..the print is the mystery: a collection of abstract shapes in brown, black and moss on a cream cotton background circling a jumping stag. Underneath him the letters T H F.
This could well be the 'in house' uniform for a well presented Scottish Manor House or even the tea house server uniform at some posh eaterie...all we know is, it looks damn cute!
Team this with cosy knit wear and some chunky leather boots or under a jean jacket for a casual Sunday afternoon approach...
Comes with a matching belt.
