1960s vintage cotton afghan kaftan patchwork maxi dress / Lux hippie / 70s marrakech
Amazing true 1960s vintage Afghan patchwork hippie dress!
A true 60s hippie piece. Handmade expertly...these dresses are harder and harder to come by these days...
This lovely number is made up of chocolate brown fabric with dainty ditsy florals all over however the front bib is made up of magenta and deep pink embroidery on a sturdy brown cotton drill fabric.
Single button & loop at each shoulder for access (no zipper) and rich embroidery at the cuffs too! The cuffs seem to have been made up of a antique fabric and feature some intriguing embellishment..gathering around the waist, front and back for extra style.
This piece is entirely handmade and has been carefully stored away since the late 60s...
