1960s early 70s maxi gown in the style of Ossie Clark by Shubette!

This is what looks like a pretty much exact "high street" copy of a classic Ossie Clark pattern from the late sixties.

The dress is cut almost cloak like in shape with a squared neckline, double seemed, gathered shoulders with wide cut long flared sleeves. There are pleats at the front with more gathering down below the attached belt ad the skirt flares out all the way down to the ankle...

The belt / tie straps are nice and long so that one can cinch and tie in the waist...

The colour of the fabric is a subdued very seventies feeling "denim blue" and therefore very easy to dress up with all sorts of cool accessories...see my photos for inspo.

Zipper at back for easy access.
