A stunning 1970s Rumak and Sample gown, the holy grail of boutique labels!

Rumak & Sample were a couture bohemian boutique in London throughout the 1970s and this one is a really lovely example of theirs...

This gown is crafted in beautiful smooth black silk satin with cape like handkerchief sleeves in a rich pink silk chiffon, trimmed in more inky black satin. 

Like all Rumak dresses, this one features a wide band of antique embroidered fabric (tulips & roses) around the squared neckline and this same fabric panel again along the hem border, which is edged in pale pink silk velvet ribbon.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The fabric is gorgeous & supple all over. There is one tiny nip in the chiffon on the shoulder. Mendable. See pic.
