Vintage 1960s silk chiffon abstract tulip print posh maxi gown / Vogue
Stunning 1960s full silk chiffon tulip gown!
This is one of the nicest dresses I have ever come across! The colours are so very vivid and almost glowing especially the pinks...this Tulip print is like something out of a abstract painting...I simply can't take my eyes from the dress while I'm typing this..
The upper part is very fitted to the body with a flattering full frill all around the bustline / shoulders and across the (lower cut, see pics) back.
The bustline is well tailored and the skirt part slightly flares out from the under bust...there are three huge pearl buttons along the right hand front (see pics) which is a superb detail in itself...
Colours in the flower print include electric blue, sable, purple, hot pink, forrest green and poison green!
Such a stunning combination of colours...this piece is ideal for a formal event such as a ball or cocktail party! A classic piece of early 1960s fashion!
But here is the best bit, this dress has pockets! Yes, pockets! You can't get more perfect than that!!

Condition: Good vintage condition. Colours are bright and vivid. There are some rust stains on the lining and faintly on the fabric. Not noticeable as this is on the inside. Price reflects.
