1960s vintage sheer Organza woven gold thread two piece / Luxe Hippy / hareem pants
Amazing 1960s silk pant suit set of dreams!
This is a psychedelic floating dream in cream silk organza with lots of goldtone lurex embroidery!
This is could be something straight out of a Luxury hippie wedding in Bali circa '68!
The dress / long tunic/shirt comes all the way to the knee and features a classic collar encrusted in gold with large balloon sleeves also decked in gold thread and a wide border around the bottom with approx 8" of gold embroidery detail. There are flecks of it all over the dress too! Stunning!
The shirt dress is darted and has four press studs at the front for closure.
The pants are something else:
High rise sheer floaty organza with flecks of gold and again a large wide border of gold embroidery around the hem...then best part is the gold panel at the back of the waistband! A simple slinky silk vest would look stunning under the ensemble tucked into the pants to show off this waistband...
Zipper and hook & eye at front of pants.
This is unlike anything else we have come across yet...ideal for a destination wedding or a special far out birthday!

Condition: Good vintage condition. Mikd overall wear. The set is in surprisingly good shape for its age. Some of the gold thread is coming a little loose here and there, can be skillfully pulled back of course.
